The countdown until our forever is on!

Unfortunately Glenn and I had to postpone the wedding until next year when we found out that we were pregnant with the twins. Even though we lost them recently the wedding is still postponed with all of our vendors so we have sent out “Change of Plans” notices in the mail. Hotel blocks will still be made available before the wedding next year.

It was the day of my 17th birthday and I had no plans. A mutual friend that Glenn and I shared, had made a birthday post about me and tagged my social media, from there Glenn decided to add me and start a conversation. He later expressed to me that he couldn't help himself because I was too beautiful! He asked me if I had any plans and was intrigued to find that I had none but decided he would take it upon himself to take me out. While I was at the store buying myself a new TV for my birthday he was busy making movie plans and asked to pick me up later. He told me that he had movie tickets to go see the new “Avengers: Endgame” movie that was in theaters but that his buddies bailed on him so now he had no one to go with! Once we confirmed the plans he picked me up and met my father before taking me out. As we were going to walk into the movie theater he stopped at the front to BUY TICKETS!! RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!! It was so obvious that he had no tickets or plans, he wanted to take me out for my birthday so he made up the plan that his buddy’s bailed just so he could take me to the movies on my birthday! He was the perfect gentleman from the moment he picked me up at my house, opening every door for me, buying my food, and helping me in the car because I was wearing heels. From that night on, the magic never ended…

We spent all morning getting ready for family photos at Point Defiance Park. I was busy worrying about my hair and the baby while Glenn had much more important things on his mind… We arrived right on time, and I was completely oblivious while everyone was preparing for the big moment. Glenn told me he was more nervous than he’s ever been and was sure that I knew it was coming. As everyone took turns taking photos it was time for me to take individuals with Xavier, Tiffany gave Glenn the signal to get behind me and I turned around to find the love of my life down on one knee asking me to marry him while our son was fast asleep in my arms. I was in absolute shock, just speechless that this was happening but of course I said YES! Everyone cheered as he put the ring on my finger and we spent the rest of the day talking about the night before (I had been talking about how I was waiting for him to propose and didn’t think he was going to do it for awhile).
