Matron of Honor
My older sister, of course I couldn’t go through this day without her standing next to me as Ben and I tie the knot. We’ve been through all of life’s ups and downs together and I’m so grateful to have her a part of this special time. She and her husband David (aka The Fridge) live just outside of Pittsburgh and are expecting their first child this upcoming Winter.
Best Man
It’s difficult for words to describe our relationship but simply put, my brother’s been my best friend my whole life. There’s nothing in this world I wouldn’t do for him. Through great times and bad we’ve always been there for one another, so as predicted by all of the Vegas sportsbooks, he is my best man.
Maid of Honor
I met Jen back in freshman year of high school and our friendship and sisterhood has grown ever since. Whether it’s summers at the shore or road trips to Penn State, she’s been my partner in crime through everything. Jen lights up any room she walks into and I could not be luckier to have her as my Maid of Honor. Jen lives in Medford with her fiance Brian and cute pup Rudy.
Groomsman
“British Ben” or “Hingey” coming to the States from Surrey, England to play golf at Drexel turned out to be an incredibly meaningful moment in my life. He instantly became part of our family. He’s beloved by all who meet him, has a heart the size of one of his bombed drives and I’m so thankful for his unconditional friendship. Catch him going slightly too hard on the G&T’s come wedding night.
Bridesmaid
“Meganiqua” and I became instant friends when I transferred to Drexel for Sophomore year of college. Meg’s selflessness and kind heart were apparent from the moment I met her. She’s also one of the most hardworking people I know. Meg’s currently in the middle of her fellowship at Christiana Care and she and her husband Jack are also expecting their first child this upcoming fall.
Groomsman
Gary and my friendship was seemingly forged by fate back in college. After spending our childhoods as mere acquaintances, we eventually realized how much fun we brought out in the other and made up for lost time in a hurry. Endless weekends at Drexel, making our own rules in AC, it’s been an absolutely wild 10+ years of brotherhood.
Bridesmaid
Kristen and I go way back. In 5th grade we played on the same travel basketball team (both of us were studs). Little did we know then that we’d be getting married within two months of each other and be in each other’s weddings. Kristen always brings that fun, lighthearted energy and is the most supportive friend you could ask for. She’s also my go-to girl to talk anything ‘Reality TV’. Kristen currently lives in Marlton and is getting married in February, 2022 to her fiancé Kevin.
Groomsman
Sweet Lou rode his bike by our house back in 2001, right after we moved to Blue Bell. He stopped by to join the driveway basketball game and we spent weeks on end together from that point on. He’s been there for every major stage and event of life. Lou’s a special dude and no big part of my life would be complete without him.
Bridesmaid
“Shark” and I grew up playing soccer on rival teams and we’re also rivals ourselves. Little did we know we'd be playing on the same team once we got to Drexel and become best friends. She's also the reason Ben and I first met back in 2012! Shark is just as wild as her name implies but you have to love her for it. She's the type of friend that will drop everything and be there for you in a second if you need her to. There's no doubt that she'll be memorable come wedding day.
Groomsman
I met Mike long before Jess and I started dating. One thing was clear from the get go… Mike flat out loved to have a good time. And man, if just being around him doesn’t get you juiced up, you don’t have a pulse. But I’m incredibly lucky to now have another brother like Mike. He’s sharp, hilarious and bound to set the dance floor on absolute fire come wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I have laughed and shared awesome memories since the beginning of high school. Between years of sports together, staying up late working on science projects and just driving aimlessly around Marlton, we’ve always had a blast together… until we started learning golf. She is a great friend, kicking ass in the business world and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. This day wouldn’t feel complete without her.
Groomsman
Coach was the first friend I made at GA when I began in Kindergarten. He insisted on including “the new kid” in recess football and I knew the kind of person he was from the very beginning. Known amongst those closest to him as “The Mayor of Panic City”, Jim is selfless, kind-hearted and a great friend.
Bridesmaid
Alex and I became soccer teammates and a dangerous duo after I transferred to Drexel. We hit it off immediately and infamously won an entire bar free shots one night, which tells you all you need to know about our friendship and influence on one another. She is currently a nurse in Princeton where she lives with her boyfriend Craig and is also in school to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Groomsman
As my younger cousin born when I was 5, Michael has always been a little brother to Max and I. Annoying at times when we were younger, sure. But we always knew the kind of person and man he could grow to become. It’s been great to watch him grow these past few years and I’m excited to have him a part of this special day.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I met in high school and have continued to grow closer over the years. Her generous and caring nature have made her such an amazing friend and someone that people naturally gravitate to. She's also the go-to girl when you're in need of a “classy” Friday wine night. Megan and her husband Mike just welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Michael Jack, this past April.
Groomsman
Sam and I go back to middle school basketball days playing against one another. To think he’s now my brother is a wild turn of events. Having Sam home for more than a year was very unexpected for him and his wife Carlyn. But getting to spend all this time with them has been such a blast. While a bit more understated than his younger brother, Sam’s the kind of guy who when he talks, you listen. And all things considered has done incredibly well for a guy who can’t do a load of laundry.
Bridesmaid
Lauren is my longest childhood friend. We met in the 2nd grade when my mom would give her piano lessons but Lauren would usually skip her lesson to climb trees in the backyard with me. We share a love for adventure, spontaneity and an old fashioned good time and have continued to grow closer over the years. Lauren is the life of any party and you can be sure to find her tearing up the dance floor on wedding day.
Groomsman
I could probably stop at “ARN”, but I’ll elaborate for those who haven’t had the privilege. Yes, he’s my stepbrother by title, but it didn’t take long for us to recognize how much we were Family. Since his move back to LA, I’d describe him as an eclipse... You may not see him everyday, but when he’s around you don’t want to miss it. He’s a great friend, an awesome brother and I’m so fortunate that our parents decided to get married.
Bridesmaid
Chappy and I played soccer at Drexel together. She came in a year after I did but after rooming together during preseason and our endless car rides through the city blasting music, we absolutely hit it off. Chappy has been there through every good time and bad time (even if it takes traveling to Rhode Island in a 3 foot snowstorm) and has the biggest heart. She's originally from Landsdale but recently moved to Denver. We'll make sure her signature dance move "Big Booty Bitches" makes an appearance at the wedding. Just you wait.
Groomsman
Killa Cam and I have continued to grow closer over the years. We just see eye to eye. Whether I was taking road trips with Mrs. Ayers to West Point, or Cam was coming to watch me in a golf tournament, we’ve been each other’s biggest supporters dating back to high school. And I know we will always be there rooting each other on no matter how much distance is between us.
Officiant
Jess, Ben & AJ have had a unique journey to get to today. AJ was both of their academic advisors when they were at Drexel together (Jess being the far superior student of the two). Fast forward to today, he and Ben run the Drexel Golf program together and he’s officiating their wedding. Tells you how much of an impression he’s made over the years. He’s a guiding voice, and a role model. Seeing how dedicated he is as a husband and father is inspiring, and it feels so fitting to Jess and Ben that he be the one to marry them on their special day.
