Keith spent weeks planning the proposal in complete top secrecy, knowing Britney’s intuitive ways. None of their family or friends knew his plan until the day of. Leading up to Britney’s 28th birthday, the night of the proposal began with a romantic dinner, followed by a trip back to where they had one of their first dates: the Hirshhorn Museum in downtown DC. This is where their love story began, as well as many, many art trips together. As they walked out of the museum plaza, Britney is stopped in her tracks by a bunch of familiar faces holding up “Will You Marry Me?” signs. Surrounded by loved ones, Keith dropped to one knee. Britney of course said “Yes!” while the happy tears flowed.

April is a monumental month for Keith and Britney. They met on April 13th and had their first date on the 17th, so the 15th is right in the middle of two meaningful days. April is also the first month they saw Kasen’s sonogram and the month they closed on their home! The last year and a half of being engaged have been a beautiful whirlwind. Being new parents and new homeowners, the couple had so much to celebrate. But with the pandemic putting a halt some many people's plans, they decided not to wait until they were able to have a big ceremony to seal the deal. Their love just couldn’t wait any longer. On April 15, Keith and Britney were married in a private ceremony that followed with a small celebratory toast back at their special place, the Hirshhorn Museum.
