Wedding Party

Maggie Kuhl

Matron of Honor

Most of my favorite memories from my college years come from spending time with these three beautiful humans (Maggie, Mari, and Anyssa), lovingly referred to as "the Junes", named after our favorite cashier from when we would buy snacks for movie night. Maggie taught me many of the most important lessons I learned in college - never put red wine in the fridge (I learned quickly that was a cardinal sin), every meal needs a salad (even when you are on spring break in college), and NEVER, ever boil a hot dog (also cardinal sin). In return, we educated her on all things midwest after we woke up one snowy morning to Maggie sitting at our window enamored with the snow plows outside. Maggie subsequently moved to wine country and makes Kelsey jealous on a daily basis with all the beautiful scenery and not a snow plow in sight.

Connor Wolfe

Best Man and Officiant

While there is certainly plenty of things that many people could say about Alex and Connor over the years, we will keep it short with embarrassing stories saved for later. Alex and Connor met during their undergraduate education at Tiffin University and have been best friends ever since. Connor has traveled the world with Alex and both have plenty of stories from their various adventures over the years! It is safe to say that they have both greatly influenced each others lives and neither would be the person they are today without the other!

Anyssa Wells

Matron of Honor

To this day, one of my favorite memories with Anyssa is the four of us (Anyssa, Maggie, Mari, and I) laying in bed on Anyssa's wedding night eating chips and laughing. Though she is, at her core, one of the strongest and most ambitious women I know, Anyssa is also one of the funniest and most down to earth people you will ever meet. As one of Kelsey's college roommates, Anyssa was often the "mom" of the group - making sure we were all making good choices and was one of the best people to turn to for advice. Additionally, she survived years of Kelsey's late night law school jogs, stellar organization skills, and wonderful time management skills. This has made her a great source for Alex to turn to when he needs advice on how to get Kelsey out the door on time for The Ohio State game.

Ryan Schuett

Groomsman

As Alex's first younger brother, Alex took it upon himself to show Ryan the difference between right and wrong. Mostly by showing him what "wrong" was and hoping he could just infer that the opposite of what Alex did was likely what "right" was. It is due to these lessons that Ryan became the man he is today. A man with a great job, credit score, wife, and who knows a bad choice when he sees it! You're welcome, Ryan. On a slightly more serious note, Ryan is a great brother and Alex and Ryan's relationship has grown tremendously over the years. Ryan is the type of person that will always be willing to help if you need help and always be there if you need anything. Ryan epitomizes what it means to be a brother and a friend.

Mari Heller

Maid of Honor

I'm fairly convinced that Mari could make friends with anyone within about 5 minutes flat. I have never met a more funny, outgoing, gregarious human. Mari is Kelsey's adopted college roommate. Though technically, our neighbor, Mari became our de facto roommate after she and Maggie bonded over their mutual love for Mari's Texas trash can. From that day forward, Mari has supplied our group of with endless belly laughs, animated story telling, and has always gone out of her way to be a true friend. She has the unique ability to form a bond with people in no time flat and to bring the party with her wherever she goes.

Josh Schuett

Groomsman

Alex's youngest brother, Josh is definitely the resident genius of the family. Being almost 6 years older than Josh, Alex did not have the same opportunity to teach Josh the same lessons he taught Ryan. However, Josh is usually the one to teach Alex these days. Josh is the kind of person to teach himself to code computers and basically deal with anything that deals with technology. For those of you that do not know, Alex is technologically illiterate and if he needs to know how to work a remote, he call Josh, If he needs to re-program a computer, he also calls Josh. Much like Ryan, Josh is also a brother who will also be there if asked. Whether than be to babysit the dogs or close a door left open in Alex's house so Alex's fiancé doesn't see it, Josh is always there to help save the day.

Cayleigh Schuett

Bridesmaid

Cayleigh is Kelsey's soon to be sister in law and as someone who always wanted a sister (and was willing to dress their helpless little brother in princess dresses to pretend - sorry Jordan), I could not be more thrilled to be gaining a sister, let alone someone as wonderful as Cayleigh. Cayleigh is perhaps one of the most compassionate humans you will ever meet. From the first time I met her, she made me feel like a part of the family and is one of those people who can make you feel like you truly matter to her when she talks to you (but watch out, she talks with her hands and has been known to break a glass or two when she is excited :P).

Derek Dixon

Groomsman

Where to start with Derek? The most appropriate starting point is over two decades ago. Alex had just moved to Mansfield and Derek was the first person to investigate what all the commotion about. After a brief conversation with Alex's mother, Derek proudly declared a statement that would echo through the ages "He would be back". No statement would ever prove more true, much to the shock of us all. Indeed Derek did return and and never left. Derek has been one of Alex's closest and best friends for over 20 years and despite going in different directions after High School, remained close friends. If there was ever anything to say about Derek, it is that someone could never ask for a more loyal, genuine, and loving friend than Derek.

Kimberly Senko

Bridesmaid

Kimberly was Kelsey's first friend in residency and they first really got to know each other when they both decided to join a hiking trip with some co-residents about a month into residency. On the first night of their trip, a severe thunderstorm knocked out the power to their cabin, and let me tell you, nothing bonds you faster than staying the night in a dark cabin in the woods without cell service, electricity or running water in the summer heat during a severe thunderstorm (I'm pretty sure that's how all horror movies start). Over the past 4 years, Kimberly and I have seen each other grow from terrified new interns into (mostly) confident triple board chiefs. Kimberly has always been there for me - whether it's reminding me that yes, I do in fact have to sign up to take board exams on time and yes, schedule requests were due yesterday or showing up with food, card games, and a listening ear when I needed a friend the most. She is one of the most genuine and trustworthy people I have ever met and I am so grateful to call her my friend.

Evan Kardasz

Groomsman

Alex met Evan in High School during their formative hooligan years and kept that friendship even after Alex decided to get grounded for an entire Summer for being a delinquent. Although both went different directions after High School they stayed in touch and Alex would frequency visit Evan at Ohio State and would introduce him to what big city college life was like (for better or worse). Most importantly it was Evan who stayed in touch with Alex over the years and was the catalyst for maintaining many of Alex's High School friendships. Something Alex has begun to appreciate tremendously as time has gone on. Despite the shenanigan's over the years, Alex and Evan always find a way to have a great time when they are together (granted with fewer shenanigans).

Jordan Saddoris

Groomsman

Saul Goodman, I mean, Jordan Saddoris is Kelsey's younger brother and is currently living the good life in Ft. Lauderdale where he spends his time on his boat fishing, practicing the law, and selling NBA teams to billionaires (true story). Alex's first experience with Jordan was mildly uncomfortable as he ran a live background check on Alex was speaking with Kelsey's parents on the phone and replaying his findings in real time. Luckily, we all made it through that experience with the relationship intact. As Jordan lives in Florida we do not get to see him as frequently as we would like but every time we do Jordan goes out of his way to make sure we are as comfortable as possible. Whether that be ordering Thanksgiving BBQ for the family, scheduling fishing charters, paying parking tickets on your rented car, or giving you sound legal advice, Jordan is always there to make you feel comfortable and appreciated.
