Anne is Emily's cousin. Emily was a bridesmaid at Anne's wedding and she has always been like an older sister to her. Anne lives in Cincinnati with her husband - Cliff and two boys, Doug and Luke.
Angeline "Angie" Piskorski

Angie or more often called Ang is Emily's friend who is also a doctoral student finishing her Ph.D. From the first residency, Angie and Emily quickly connected and realized they had many similar life situations. She is the pickle to Emily's plate- ask either one of them that story! Having relied on each other throughout 3 years of coursework they have stayed connected. Angie lives in Harrisburg, PA, and works for TopCoder as their Chief of Staff.

Lorie is Emily's friend. Lorie and Emily became friends when they both lived in Bristol, TN. Emily could actually see their house from her kitchen window. They became friends through Discovery Church and were in the same small group. Emily would often walk into their house after work randomly and play with their son Samuel or just text them and bring over pizza as they played games and hung out for the evening. Emily and A.J. went to visit Lorie and her family the first year they were dating and showed A.J. what it is like living in the south when a snowstorm hit and the town shut down while they were there.
