They met at a mutual friend's birthday party. For Lorint it was love at first site. They quickly found they had a lot in common. Lorint studying for his Master's in psychology and Nikki studying for her Medical Boards, their first encounters were study dates. A friendship blossomed into a relationship and the two have remained together since, growing and learning more about each other every day.

After asking for Nikki's parents blessings. Lorint proposed to Nikki on the Anniversary of his parent's wedding Anniversary after cooking a New Years Eve candlelit dinner and preparing to bring in the new year together.
