WHAT SAFETY MEASURES WILL BE IMPLEMENTED AS RELATED TO COVID-19?

Answer

1. Reduced guest count (family & wedding party/spouses only). 2. Outdoor ceremony w/social distancing seating. 3. Reception space inside and outside to ensure proper ventilation. 4. Guest are required to wear a mask and hand sanitizer will be available throughout 5. Strategic seating arrangements w/social distancing (Vaccinations are Strongly Encouraged) 6. Heavy hors d oeuvres mostly served by staff in masks and gloves.

ARE GUESTS AND VENDORS REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AT THE WEDDING CEREMONY AND WEDDING RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes! EVERYONE will be required to wear masks in accordance with the CDC Guidelines. This is also an important step to help ensure the safety of all guests and vendors. Loria and Dwight appreciate your cooperation in advance!

WILL ANY ACTIVITIES BE HELD OUTDOORS?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony will be outside. Water and limited amount flip flops and umbrellas provided.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION?

Answer

Beach Wedding Attire...cute and trendy sundresses, halter dresses for the ladies; fly button down linen shirts, linen leisure suits, linen pants or shorts for the gentlemen, sandals, flip flops, and straw hats. Suits, “All White Attire” preferred, but not required. NO BATHING SUITS OR SWIM TRUNKS!!!!

WHY ARE THERE NO OTHER HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS LISTED?

Answer

The Breakers Resort on the Beautiful Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida is the official host condominium for the Barfield Wedding. Additionally, there are rooms blocked for the Barfield Wedding at The Hampton Inn & Suites and The Best Western Beachfront both are conveniently located Santa Rosa Blvd., Fort Walton Beach in close proximity to the Host Condominiums, The Wedding & the Reception. We request anyone traveling from out of town and in need of hotel accommodations to stay at our host hotel.
