So funny story. We both attended ECC and Niagara University at the same time but never met. We both swiped right on Tinder, or Farmers Only according to Rob, and everything fell into place after that!

Our first date was basically five dates all rolled into one. My mom actually met Rob first by running out to his truck when he came to pick me up. Then we were supposed to go to a tractor pull (so country) and we couldn’t get in because we brought Dixie. So we decided to drive around and Rob would show me around Lewiston, Ransomville, and Youngstown. We wanted to go to Lewiston Peach Fest, but he had a family dinner. So the plan was he would take me back home, have dinner, and we would meet back at peach fest after. Well on our way past his parents house, we see his dad outside helping a neighbor in their yard. He flags us down and says I should just join them for dinner. I said “why not” and met his family and pastor and his family that night for dinner. This is where I first met Eugene and he gave me a wax pear candle to always remember him. After dinner we went to Peach Fest and I met a handful of Robs friends. It was a whirlwind of a night but it helped break all the tension of the dates to follow.
