We're getting married!!

Chris was working with my cousin Rhianna at the time and she played match maker with us. At first I was a little hesitant to text him since I wasn't the type to text a guy first but my cousin Amber talked me into it. We ended up having him over for dinner one night and I knew right then that he was something special. When he went to leave, I walked him out to his car where he asked me "Can I get a kiss from the most beautiful girl in the world" I of course said yes. He gave me goose bumps then and still to this day when he kisses me I get goose bumps. I am so madly in love with this man.

It was Christmas. All day Brooklyn and Chris were acting very weird. I had a feeling something was up, but I wasn't quite sure what. We had a busy day of course, spending time with family. We wen't over to my parents for an early dinner. When we got home Brooklyn kept asking Chris if they could give me my last gift. I was in the kitchen cleaning up and then told me to come sit on the couch and close my eyes. When they told me to open my eyes Brooklyn was down on one knee and asked "Will you marry my daddy?!" I couldn't get the word "YES!" out of my mouth fast enough. I cried and was in so much shock. Literally the best gift of Christmas I could ask for is my family finally becoming one.
