The Cleat is probably the best spot to watch the sunset in Miami. It's very casual and the food options are limited, but cocktails are delicious!
This is where we celebrated Laura's birthday for the first time as a couple. It's a great atmosphere with great beer and food, and has a hidden little cigar shop Joseph really appreciates. Our favorite beer is The Freedom Tower!
A historical Miami neighborhood that has everything to offer. Grab a bite to eat, and stroll along Biscayne Bay to Regatta Grove for a drink or Kennedy Park for a frozen lemonade. You really can't go wrong with any of the restaurants in the Grove, but some of our favorites are Happy Wine, Amal, Glass & Vine, Strada, and Mister 01. If you love history like Laura, then be sure to visit The Barnacle, The Playhouse Theatre, Plymouth Congregational Church, and of course, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
Another favorite historical neighborhood in Miami full of great places to eat, walk around, and shop. Some of our favorite restaurants are Bay 13 Brewery, Doc B's, Bulla Gastrobar, Motek, and Cafe Demetrio. Miracle Mile and Giralda Avenue are great for walking. Giralda is busier at night, and home to our favorite bar with the best music...The Bar.
We actually don't go to Wynwood too often, but if you're not from Miami then this is a unique part of town with really good restaurants, like KYU, 1-800-Lucky, Le Chick, and the original The Salty Donut.
If you have time to catch a Heat game!
