With so much to do in Austin, be sure to map out your stay. KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD!
Austin Art Murals
There are MANY art murals scattered throughout the city. For some great photos of your visit, be sure to check out a couple.
Kerbey Lane
Kerbey Lane, Austin, TX
Scattered throughout Austin, you don't want to miss out on this goodness! Try their famous Queso which is basically liquid gold in Texas.
They do late-night food on Fridays and Saturdays.
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
2201 William Barton Drive, Austin, TX 78746
A great place for a nice cold dip! Kiddos love it here too.
Fun note: Ryan proposed to me here!
Franklin Barbecue
900 East 11th Street, Austin, TX 78702
You can't come to Texas and NOT enjoy some bar-b-que. Every Texan is biased when it comes to this hot topic but you can't go wrong with Franklin's. The lines get long here so if you aren't willing to wait in line, try another spot.
Bat Watching
100 S. Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704
Bat Watching can occur between 7:30 PM - 9:45 PM. There are also tours available but it's not needed as you can just wait on the bridge for them to show at sunset. Best viewing dates: April-October.
