Great news for our American guests... There are now 2 airlines that fly direct from the US to Cape Town! These are United Airlines (EWR-CPT) and Delta Airlines (ATL-CPT). Whilst a little pricier than other options, this is the most convenient flight option for our US guests. The flight is approximately 14 hours long. We recommend booking your flight 3-6 months prior to departure to get the best pricing, with best rates usually at 6 months out. Flexible fare calendars also help tremendously with finding a good deal ;)

Thankfully there are plenty of options of flights that fly from the US to Cape Town, with stop overs in Europe or surrounding areas. Our best recommendation is to use a travel website like Kayak to easily compare all your options both price and duration wise to fit your needs and budget. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help with booking. As mentioned above, we recommend booking about 3-6 months prior to departure to get the best prices.

Since Cape Town international airport is a major travel hub, there are plenty of rental car companies within the airport building. Renting vehicles will be affordable for our US guests, but we recommend making sure to book an automatic transmission vehicle. Driving on the left hand side of the road will be challenging enough ;) All jokes aside, getting around Cape Town by car is very easy and will allow you the freedom to go sightseeing. Rental companies include Hertz, Avis, Budget and Enterprise amongst other local companies.

There are a myriad of accommodation options within 10min of our venue that you can choose to book your overnight stay at. Most are other wine estates, guesthouses and hotels. We recommend visiting Booking.com or a similar site to browse all the options near the venue. There are hundreds of beautiful Airbnb options surrounding our venue and in Cape Town in general. We definitely recommend browsing the options, especially if you have more than 2 or 3 people traveling together. Cape Town is a large city, so if you would like to be within 15-20min of the venue, we recommend rentals in the 'Strand' or 'Stellenbosch' neighbourhoods. The Strand is a vibrant ocean side area with spectacular views and great restaurants, whilst Stellenbosch is tucked into the famous Cape winelands and provides more mountainous views with plenty of food and wine options.
