Tiny Tapp & Café
Logan and I frequented this place when we worked together downtown. Right off the river, Tiny Tapp (and City Winery right next door) is a bar right off the river with a gorgeous view and fun atmosphere.
Eataly
Eataly is a high-quality Italian store and cafeteria, serving amazing food that's perfect for a fun lunch. They also offer cooking classes, making it a place to eat, shop, and learn. It's a spot that never gets old for us. *chefs kiss*
Lincoln Park Zoo (it's free!)
We love this spot. The best part is it's free... Nestled right in the famous Lincoln Park, you can stroll through it and momentarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Starbucks Reserve Roastery
The largest Starbucks location in the world and latest roastery to be built. Right off the infamous Magnificent Mile - it has five stories at 35,000 square feet. Just setting foot in it is an experience in itself. We recommend the espresso martini ;)
North Avenue Beach
Our spot where we play beach volleyball and lay out with friends, this is a happening beach right alongside the Lakefront trail. Whether you lay out or just stop by on a lakefront walk, it's a sight to be seen.
