Travel Note
All guests (including children) must have a valid U.S. passport to travel to Mexico. This means that your passport cannot expire within 6 months of your travel date (i.e. before July 2024). We highly recommend applying for your passport early to avoid last minute stress.
Flight
Cancún International Airport is the most convenient airport to reach the resort and wedding venue. If you are joining us at the JW Marriott Cancún, it is a quick 15 minute ride from the airport. We recommend pre-arranging your transportation to and from the airport to avoid any stress upon arrival. We do not recommend relying on Uber or Lyft as Cancun is taxi/shuttle focused.
Hotel
We highly recommend staying at this resort as there will be pre-arranged transportation to and from the wedding venue and we will be hosting a welcome party onsite. It will also ensure all of our guests are able to spend the most time with us throughout the weekend as possible! When choosing a room, there are several options that should meet each person's needs. This is not an all inclusive resort however, there are two package options: traditional room-only package or Club 91 package which includes some meal and drink options and upgraded concierge services. Please use the link below to book your accommodations. If you book through our block, you will receive a discounted rate, waived resort fee, complimentary upgrade when available, double Marriott Bonvoy points (provide your Bonvoy account number at check-in to receive points) , and the ability to make payments at your leisure. If you have any questions or would like to book through the travel agent directly, please contact Tanita Mitchell at 346-298-5899 and let her know you are with the Burge-Goldschmidt wedding. She can also help you arrange flights, airport transportation, and trip insurance. We cannot guarantee that the block will be available for all guests. The last date to modify your reservation is 12/4/2023.
