Livia first noticed Logan at a mutual friend's birthday party in the summer of 2021. Logan was holding his little brother's hand/helping him walk and Livia was obviously instantly interested! Over the next 8 months, Livia continually hoped and prayed she could have an opportunity to meet Logan. God used this time to increase her faith in Him and to teach her to pray more faithfully. Then, in spring of 2022, God answered her prayers and they officially met at a Bible study. Livia refused to make the first move or speak to him first, since she wanted to be the one being pursued. This was a huge test of patience for her! They didn't start to form a connection until that fall, when Logan finally reached out to Livia after they were on the same team during a church 'Amazing Race' competition. He told her that she forgot her apple juice at his house and they haven't stopped talking since. On December 27th, 2022, Logan asked Livia to court her, and on February 7th, 2024, Logan proposed to Livia. He had convinced her they wouldn't be getting engaged for at least another six months, so Livia was incredibly surprised! God has been so faithful in their relationship and his timing was perfect in bringing them together. They have lived two minutes apart from each other for five years and had mutual friends, but never crossed paths until God said the timing was right. Knowing how God so intricately brought Logan and Livia together has been such an encouraging testimony of his perfection and sovereign care for them.
