FAQs

Question

What’re the COVID-19 policies and restrictions?

Answer

As of now, there are no restrictions set by the venue. However, as cases begin to rise again in Pennsylvania, we will respect if you choose to wear a mask and encourage it if you have not been vaccinated.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, Dante & I are requesting an adults only reception (16+) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors in the garden area and cocktail hour/reception will be indoors

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free. You can park around the back of the hotel for entrance directly into the banquet hall or you can park in front of the hotel and walk through the lobby to the banquet hall

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, please call The Hilton Garden Inn and mention our names for the discounted rate. You can also use discount code “PSW” to reserve a room online for the discounted rate.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We would appreciate if you would RSVP, by mail, by August 7, 2021.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Cocktail hour will consist of finger food, alcoholic and soft drinks. For dinner, we will start with a soup and salad. From there it will be your choice of steak or chicken (as decided of your formal invite ), vegetable, and potato. Cake & cookies will also be provided.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

All of our menu has the ability to be modified to fit specific dietary needs. Please alert us on your invite of any adjustments that need to be made so we can let the cooks know

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We politely ask that no photos be placed on social media until after we ourselves do so. We are asking for an “unplugged ceremony” so that you can be fully present with us. When you do post photos, please use our wedding hashtag #InSiccness&InHealth so we can reminisce of the day after the fact!
