It all began in August of 2016. Logan and Mike had been messaging back and forth each trying to do their best to convince the other to finally meet up. Whether it was Logan trying to convince Mike to drive to New Jersey for Labor Day weekend party: Day of Games or Mike trying to convince Logan to drive to New Jersey for his family vacation; they just hadn’t met yet. Finally, that was all going to change. The “when and where” was decided—Thursday night at Village Whiskey. A spot famous for burgers crafted by an Iron Chef and, yep, you guessed it, whiskey. As the date got goin’, the two flirted over old fashioneds and oysters. Then, came the burgers. For those who don’t know, the Village Whiskey burgers are big and messy. Wide-eyed and hungry, Mike turned to Logan with a disclaimer "I'm using two hands and it's going to get sloppy...you should do the same." Without hesitation Logan nodded "okay, cool." Cocktails were flowing and Mike and Logan were really hitting it off. As the meal was coming to an end, Mike thought that the night had gone well enough to ask Logan to join him to his local favorite spot; Smith's Bar. Eager to drop the first date formalities and continue having fun, Logan accepted. Once there, Logan and Mike ordered their tried and trues; bottles of Bug Light and Miller Lite. Mike knew that something was different about this girl for sure when she reached into her purse and pulled out a can koozie. This was the second reason he knew “she could hang.” Fast forward a few weeks to September 20, 2016. After multiple dates and hang-outs, Mike decided to make it official and ask Logan to be his girlfriend. They have been inseparable ever since.
