FAQs

Question

Why are you getting married in Park City?

Answer

Mostly because we love it out there! Roland first came to UT in 2018 for Lizzie's sisters wedding, where he met her entire family for the first time... and then bravely came back 2 months later for his first Christmas with the Kirst-Kolkmans! We have since enjoyed 3 more Christmases, 2 Spring ski trips (one of which included a proposal!) and a summer visit - and we look forward to adding a wedding to the list!

Question

What elevation is Park City?

Answer

The town of Park City is at 7,000 ft, and our reception will be at 9,100 ft. In preparation, we recommend making sure you're well hydrated the 3 days leading up to your trip, and drink lots of water once you land to help you get acclimated!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is garden party-slash-cocktail attire, but please wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Note - our ceremony will take place on grass, so please plan your footwear accordingly!

Question

How do I get to the ceremony?

Answer

There will a bus leaving from The DoubleTree at 4pm - and smaller shuttles that will be making rounds to pick up some parties at 4 and 430. We will be in touch with that information soon!

Question

What if I don't want to take the chairlift to the ceremony?

Answer

We have an alternate option! Please email ElizabethJKirst@gmail.com and we'll happily coordinate this for you

For all the days along the way
