Mayra Lopez
Maid of Honor
Lizzette's friend since 1995 and best friends since High School. Mayra has been an amazing example to Lizzette as a wife (going on 24 years) and as a mother of 3 sons. In January 2018 Liz had planned a vacation to Disney World with her sister, who unfortunately passed away 3 months before the scheduled trip. Mayra stepped up to go on this trip with Liz and made it special. After that, Mayra visited Disney World again with Lizzette in January 2022, this time with her husband and one of her sons. This trip was important because Mayra spent time with Bill as well, solidifying her role as Maid of Honor. Every time Lizzette visits Puerto Rico she is sure to set time aside to see Mayra . They chat constantly to keep in touch or to get each other's opinion on something. This is one of Lizzette's oldest and most valued friendships.
William Berardi Sr.
Best Man
William is Bill's father, who has set an example for him as husband and dad. William or “Dad” is very generous, always making sure everyone is ok and has what they need. This is something that Bill truly appreciates. Bill knows he can count on Dad when he needs him the most, especially in times of illness. Dad has a great sense of humor. When family gathers, Dad always says something funny to lighten the mood. He’s a jokester and appreciates Liz’s sense of humor as well. He calls Liz “Lizard”, which she finds hilarious. Dad welcomed Liz to the family with open arms and has been supportive of the couple’s relationship since the beginning. Bill’s relationship with Dad has flourished even more in the past years. Bill appreciates spending time with Dad, whether it’s going out for lunch or just having a conversation at home.
Eunice Rivera

Lizzette's beloved niece. The first to call her Tia Lizzette! They share a special aunt/niece bond, and even lived together for a while in 2020. Eunice has visited Disney World 4 times with Tia Lizzette, including one special trip with Tia Leslie and grandparents in 2016. To attend Eunice's High School graduation, Lizzette had to travel by car (due to health), and made the road trip with Bill. It was very important to Lizzette to be at the graduation and be there for Eunice during this important milestone.
Milda Rios

Milda and Lizzette met while working at Hewlett Packard in Puerto Rico 2004. They spent time outside of work hanging out and exploring the island. Milda's nieces and nephew call Liz "Titi Lizzette", which also means aunt. Milda always invited Liz to birthday parties and family functions, they quickly became best friends. Milda has an easygoing personality and is a lot of fun; she loves greatly and unconditionally. She sends Lizzette special packages and letters in the mail, consistently staying in touch. Lizzette feels very blessed to have Milda in her life.
Devon Williams

Devon was one of the first people Lizzette met when she started working at ESPN in 2014. They began meeting up for dinner and taking short trips to NY. They've been to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting a couple times, and seen a couple Broadway shows. Nowadays Devon and Lizzette work in different departments, so they don't see each other at work as much. They meet about once a month to have lunch or dinner and catch up. Their favorite restaurant is Bar Taco in West Hartford. Lizzette feels blessed to have Devon in her life.
Juda Rivera
Groomsman
Juda is Lizzette's beloved nephew. When he was born, Lizzette made a trip to Colorado with her sister Leslie to see their newborn nephew. So far Lizzette has vacationed with Juda in multiple occasions, including 3 trips to Disney World. In May 2018, Lizzette made a Tia/Nephew trip to Disney World with Juda. This was a special trip because they would spend a week in Disney, just the two of them exploring and discovering new favorite rides. Lizzette loves Juda very much and is happy to know he and Bill get along so well. After spending time together on various vacations, Bill has grown to love Juda as well; choosing him to be his groomsman.
Jenna Blakeslee
Officiant
Jenna and Lizzette met at ESPN around 2016. Although they work in different areas, Jenna and Lizzette worked the same shift in studio productions and were frequently crewed on the same shows. When Lizzette was feeling lonely or missing home, Jenna was always there as a loving friend to grab a bite to eat or just hang out. Lizzette has even even doggy-sat for Jenna and gets along well with Jenna's fur-babies. When Lizzette met Bill and started dating him, Jenna was one of the first to hear about him. Later on Bill met Jenna and could see why this is a very important friendship for Lizzette. Nowadays they all meet to catch up, whether it is over a cup of coffee or a bite to eat at their favorite spot. Jenna has been a great friend to Lizzette and Bill, so when they knew Jenna was ordained and had officiated a wedding in Florida, it was unanimous to have Jenna be the officiant for their special day.
