Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
If you're staying close to Golden or the in Foothills, check out Red Rocks! The park and amphitheater are open to the public during the day for hiking or just seeing the famous concert venue. Be prepared for the steps... they are no joke (even for people who are used to the altitude!).
Fox And The Hen
If you're looking for a fun brunch spot before the wedding, we LOVE the Fox and the Hen, located right in the Highlands neighborhood! We love this place because of the food, and because Carrie from Top Chef Colorado is the owner and Chef. Don't sleep on the French Onion Soup Toast! Make sure to get a reservation well in advanced. It is incredibly popular!
Post Oak Barbecue
If you're looking for a good meal before the Welcome Party, check out Post Oak BBQ on Tennyson St. Tell the bartender, Demetrius, that you know the bride and groom and he will hook you up!
Coors Field
If it works for your schedule and you like to have a good time at baseball games while almost guaranteeing that the home team will lose, check out McGregor Square and Coors Field for a Rockies Game!
Dairy Block
A great spot in the heart of downtown Denver for food, drinks, and fun vibes! Pro tip: find the speakeasy, Run for the Roses, located underneath Dairy Block. Look for the roses on the ground to lead you in. We love it!
Coors Brewery Tour
Located super close to Golden is the Coors Brewery! They have tours running all day long and rumor has it there are many beers to be consumed during the experience. Be sure to book tickets early because, as you can imagine, it's popular!
Blackhawk
If you're feeling lucky, 40 minutes outside of Denver is Blackhawk, Colorado's very own Las Vegas! Head "up the hill" to check out the glorious casinos...if you dare!
