Cinta Costera is Panama City’s park system located on the waterfront that was constructed within the past couple of years and is still expanding. There’s a fairly new place that opened called Urban Bikes located near the entrance of Casco Viejo where you can rent bikes, scooters, and rollerblades.
Visit Mi Ranchito in El CauseWay and have authentic panamenian food surrounded by the Panamenian Bay.
Visit of one our many luxury city malls to shop or just enjoy the A/C. For the architects out there, parts of this mall were designed by CallisonRTKL.
Have one of the best fried fish and plantains in this outdoor restaurant by our soccer station and bay.
We love Dim Sum and it is specially good in Panama thanks to the amazing Chinese community! We would recommend several places! One of them is Lung Fung, but we have several others.
This is the closest beach to the city! We would recommend to visit Panorama (one of the restaurants by the beach), grab some drinks and enjoy the sun/ see the sunset!
Have a taste of our famous Geisha coffee. One of the most expensive coffees in the world ! (This Panamenian company recently opened in La Cosecha in Washington D.C., give it a try!)
Great place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Add some margaritas and drinks to that order!
The climb up Ancon Hill (Cerro Ancon) in Panama City takes only 30 minutes. The incline is quite steep but it is gradual and on a paved road. This is a leisurely climb suitable for kids, dogs, and hikers of all abilities. The path leads you up to a fence that is sometimes open and sometimes not. Don’t be deterred just walk through the hole of the fence.
Parque Metropolitano is located less than 5 km (3.2 mi) from Albrook Mall and was once part of the Panama Canal Zone. The trails vary in length and difficulty. Most of the trails (with the exception of Los Momótides which is a loop) connect to other trails. Trail lengths range from 0.7 km (0.4 mi) to 1.1 km (0.7 mi). All trails are easily marked and identifiable.
