We're Getting Married!

Cory and Liz met in high school through mutual friends. Eventually, they even became best friends. The turned to each other for relationship advice, which is kind of funny since both of those relationships failed. Liz and Cory became inseparable but Liz was adamant that they would never be together and friend-zoned Cory...hard. They did date one time, briefly, but that ended quickly and back to the friend zone Cory went. Then came a period of time in Cory's junior year of high school and Liz's sophomore year that both of them were not in a relationship for a decent amount of time. In late spring of that year, Cory could sense things change and told Liz that he knew she liked him. He asked her to be his girlfriend on May 10, 2013. The two have been inseparable since. Throughout Liz's long four years of school away from Cory in Cincinnati and Cory's apprenticeship with the electric company, their love only grew stronger. Liz moved home after college and turned Cory's house into a home. They have grown their relationship and family (by a dog, Colt-Boy). One day, when Cory was away on storm duty, he knew it was time to marry Liz. On April 4, 2021, on his family's land in southeast Ohio, Cory popped the question and Liz (obviously) said YES!!
