Emma and Liz met swimming at Wayzata Country Club (our venue!) at 6 years old. Emma coined the acronym BFFASTF then and they are still those Best Friends Forever and Swimming Together Forever :)

Cocktail enthusiast, sass master, and rising volleyball star, Bower is a jack of all trades. With so many hobbies, it is no wonder Bower and Byron became friends at Iowa State. Their friendly banter and snarky jabs are a defining part of their bromance.

Kirsten and Liz became best friends at Aquajets after Emma introduced them at 15. They quickly became the most obnoxious teenage girl duo thinking they were really cool and in hindsight doing many embarrassing things such as "rapping" all the words to Super Bass in public.

These two have come a long way since being sworn enemies in elementary school after Spencer called Byron "Myron". They eventually became choir buds, aerospace nerds, and hiking partners. Spencer was even a key player in pulling off the Yosemite engagement!

Abby and Liz have been friends since childhood roaming the streets of Deephaven and the aisles of Target. They've had so much fun together including creating a legendary music video to Ice Ice Baby (can you tell Liz was really cool?). Abby is truly the best hype woman and one of the most dedicated friends a girl could ask for.

Curt and Byron have been friends since their engineering days at Iowa State. Between his boisterous opinions, red hair, and tall stature, it is hard to miss this redwood tree in a room. These two have a ton in common, soon to include their wedding date! Thanks for sharing your anniversary with us!

Kate and Liz have been friends since High School. They became fast friends and even though they live far apart now, their bond remains the same. Just a couple of old ladies sipping chai teas and discussing Taylor Swift.

Byron met Kyle through the Iowa State Triathlon Club. Kyle then introduced Byron to the deep and addictive world of board games. Over 10 years later, these nerds still chat and play games online every week.

Anna and Liz are relatively newer friends, but Liz is certain they'll be close for many years to come. They share a strong bond formed by workouts (mostly swimming, biking and running), reality TV and painting. Thanks for the intro, Byron!
