Things To Do

Whether you’re planning to make a vacation out of your visit, or just looking for things to do in town, we want you to enjoy your stay! Here are some suggestions for fun in and around St. Ignace.
Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island, MI 49757

One of our favorite travel destinations. Lots of opportunities for outdoor fun - ferry rides, shops, tandem biking, hiking, landmarks, beaches, kayaking, museums, tours, parasailing, and horses. NO cars on the island at all! Mackinac Island is just a quick ferry ride away from our venue, and it's a must-visit if you're new to Michigan! Don't leave without trying their world famous Mackinac Island fudge! Check out the ferry ticket prices online before you go - you can sail out of St. Ignace or cross the bridge and sail out of Mackinaw City (there is a $4 bridge toll each way). Star Line Ferry has a port right next door to our wedding venue (click "view" to be directed to their website), but check out Shepler's ferry as well (linked to the right) to compare prices/availability.
