I started my Saturday morning with my normal routine, cleaning and mopping floors. Tangi came by while I was cleaning and wanted her lashes done. We talked briefly and of course I complained to her about Jay wanting to take pictures in December, while it was cold. Well, of course Jay was rushing me, because it takes me forever to get ready and do my makeup. Finally, we arrive at the spot where Marc chose for us to take pictures, some random place. Marc always makes taking pictures fun, so I forgot about being cold. Little did I know, our pictures would be proposal pictures. As I am taking instruction from Marc to turn my back and let my hair down. My family and friends were creeping up to be a part of my special day. When I was instructed to turn around, I immediately saw my babies, Cortney, Destiney and Endya. I was confused and happy. Jay then got on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes!!! I was so ecstatic to have Tangi, who knew all along, Sonceray, my brother Steve, both Vanessa's and Niya. The surprises didn’t stop there. After taking pictures, everyone disappeared. I called Destiney and she said she was heading back to Greensboro, because she had plans, Cortney stated she was on her way back home because she may have to go to work, Sonceray said something about being busy. So now I’m disappointed because everyone left. While I’m looking at my ring and talking to Jay in the car, I never looked up until we pulled in the yard and everyone was at our house!!! Jay had a congratulation sign in the yard and my family and friends had the perfect song playing when we entered the house. Oh, what an amazing day. There was food, decorations and plenty of wine.
