Fresno Yosemite International Airport

This is definitely the closest airport to Yosemite. Plan to rent a car from the airport, but don't plan on spending much time in Fresno ;)

This is one of the valley floor options, close to the falls and lots of activities. We'll be checking in here on October 26th and checking out (to go stay at the Ahwahnee) on the 31st.

The Ahwahnee

The "crown jewel" of the national park lodges, the Ahwahnee is the best, but very limited availability. We will be checking in on the 31st, the day after our wedding, and checking out on November 3rd.

This one is about 30 minutes outside the park on Highway 41 from Fresno.

Also on Highway 41, Tenaya at Yosemite has rooms, suites, cabins and cottages.

The Redwoods, just off Highway 41, operates vacation home rentals.

The Monarch Inn offers hotel rooms in the lovely town of Mariposa, 40 minutes from the park.
