We're Getting Married!!!

It all began when we were crushing on each other in the 7th grade. After turning down Jake in the middle school hallway because I was "not allowed to date", we gave things another whirl in 9th grade. We attended two high school dances together as each other's date, but unfortunately I was still afraid of boys. From then on, we stayed friends for a handful of years. Fast forward to the summer of 2020, while going through some keepsakes, I came across the poster Jake gave me when he asked me to the dance in 9th grade. I sent it over to him, we laughed about it, caught up, and the rest is history. It also helped that we ironically ran into each other at the McKennan Park tennis courts a few days later, where we further reconnected. McKennan also happens to be where he asked me to be his girlfriend, as well as his wife!
