Sandy Hook Lighthouse
Go see the historic lighthouse at Sandy Hook and Fort Hancock, or enjoy the scenic nature walks throughout the area. Great views of NYC right across the bay, but if you're looking for more, Twin Lights in the nearby Atlantic Highlands tower over the Sandy Hook beaches and offer even more amazing views of the city!
Wonder Bar
One of our favorites! This quirky bar is just across the street from the beach and a block away from the Asbury Hotel. If you plan to bring your furry friends with you for the weekend, check out Yappy Hour on the patio! Just make sure to read all of the bar's rules first.
Allaire Village
Living history museum portraying early 19th century community life. This museum features interactive displays, working craft shops, a bakery, and more historic buildings. Nearby Allaire State Park also offers plenty of hiking trails.
Asbury Park Pedal Boats
Take the swan boats out for a spin on Wesley Lake, and then pop over to the Biergarten for a rooftop drink!
