We met in 2004. We played games together after school (aka Gunbound) and chatted for hours over AIM. After months of crushing on Lisa, Justin finally mustered up the courage to ask her out in an offline message. She declined and ignored him for three years. In high school, we rekindled our friendship over painting rally posters (although Justin never really lifted a paintbrush) and practicing homecoming skits and dances. The last 11 years have been an adventure-filled ride. We've scaled numerous mountains, studied abroad in China where we met our best friends, danced our way through the crowds at various music festivals, and scootered, tuk-tuked, and biked through the streets and alleys of 11 countries together. Plus, Justin broke Lisa's foot, so he's stuck with her for good. Justin proposed on June 15, 2017, which also happened to be our ten year anniversary. Every day for a year, he recorded a video leading up to the engagement. He gathered all of our closest friends and led her on a scavenger hunt all over San Francisco. He popped the question at the Palace of Fine Arts, and it was a day that we'll never forget. Our wedding is a celebration of not just us, but of all our friends and family who have supported us through the years. We are excited to celebrate love with all of you on June 15, 2019!
