We ask guests arrive no later than 3:45pm, 15 minutes PRIOR to the ceremony, to give you a chance to find a seat, mingle with familiar faces, or take a photo of the beautiful landscape.
Cocktail attire is preferred for the wedding ceremony and reception. Think a snazzy dress or jumpsuit, suit or jacket with a tie, something that makes you feel fabulous. Since it's May in Wisconsin, the weather can vary from 45 degrees to 80 degrees. Welcome to the Midwest! :-) You may want to bring a sweater, shawl, or jacket. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place inside. The cocktail hour will be inside and outside and include lawn games or a great photo op. The reception will be inside - with time to explore the beautiful grounds of the venue! Note that the ceremony will likely be in the grass, so plan your footwear accordingly - wedges, flats, or platform rather than stilettos. The dress code for the Wisconsin Welcome at the Farm Friday evening is business casual. You may wish to dress in layers given the variability of weather.
For the wedding ceremony and reception: only nieces, nephews, cousins' kids, and babies under 1 are invited. Thank you for understanding. For the Friday Wisconsin Welcome: Pizza at the Farm, kids are warmly invited and welcome. The farm has trails and even a playground!
