We met when a mutual friend invited us both to a music festival in Tahoe, California for New Years 2019. We got to know each other listening to electronic music in the freezing cold. On the way back to LA (where we both lived), Lisa's flight got delayed just enough so that we landed at the same time. Christian worked up the courage to ask Lisa if she wanted to split a Lyft and said he'd loved to see her again sometime. The feeling was reciprocated.

Christian proposed to Lisa in the beautiful heart of Mexico City on January 28th, 2023.
