Daphne said to Lisa, "I found a great guy for you." Lisa and Mitchell spent the next month rolling their eyes in response to Daphne's continued encouragement to meet. Daphne escalated her efforts to the next level, by going to Lisa's school and pulling her out of a meeting to inform her that she had shared Lisa's contact information with this "great guy." Days later, Lisa received her first text from Mitchell. After their initial exchange, Mitchell asked Lisa to dinner. They met at Matchbox in One Loudoun, and the rest was history.

Lisa thought nothing of the innocent text from Julie and Megan - inviting her and Mitchell to Bear Chase Brewery. In reality, Mitchell already had the ring in his nightstand drawer and a solidified plan. On the morning of, Mitchell's top priority was to have Megan arrive on time for the first time in her life. He was successful as Megan and Cesar arrived even minutes early. After a very long and stressful drive, the couples arrived as Bear Chase was opening for the day. They grabbed their much-needed drinks and headed down the hill to the beautiful overlook. No one took notice of the incognito photographer, Lauren, sitting nearby. To no surprise, Megan asked Lisa to take a picture. Mitchell interjected - asking for a picture of the two of them first. As Lisa started fixing her hair, Mitchell turned to Lisa, took her hand, and began a proposal the two of them will never forget. As the group tried to compose themselves, Mitchell announced that there was yet another surprise. He gestured to the top of the hill where both families were emerging from the doors having just witnessed the proposal. The rest of the day was full of friends, family, drinks, and love.
