Question

Where is the ceremony site/how long will it take to walk there?

Answer

Beaver Lake Nature Center has several trails. The "Council Circle" is about .25 mile down the Deep Woods Trail. It is to right of the main building - look for the "Wedding" signs. Plan about 15 minutes from parking lot to ceremony. Will start a bit after 2pm to give everyone time to be seated. Pathway can be soft, heels may sink in.

How do I exit the Nature Center if I'm not a member?

When you get to the gate, use the intercom to tell the desk you are with the McArdell Wedding.

May my children attend?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Can I bring a date/+1?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

What about the weather?

Answer

Please check back here! If the weather is very uncooperative, ceremony will be at 2:30 at Aspen House. A light rain = Beaver Lake.

What's the dress code?

Comfortable attire, no tie required.
