We met in the most romantic of places--the CWU Cafeteria. In a group of new friends, Jonah asked "what is that song where Kermit sings sitting on a log?" and I answered "Rainbow Connection!" That was when we first clicked, and we spent the next few months hanging out more and more, and we had our first date at a concert for the CWU Music Department. We spent our time playing games and of course laughing a lot -- I fell in love with Jonah's sense of humor, and we officially started dating in February 2017.

Jonah proposed at the top of the Seattle Great Wheel on September 30th, 2022 after over 5 years of dating. He scheduled us a romantic dinner on the Great Wheel and proposed during the meal.
