Glacier National Park

MT

Glacier National Park is about an hour and a half from the town of Bigfork, and worth the trip! Park recommendations: 1. Going to the Sun Road. You can drive the road yourself, ride along in Glacier's famous "Red Bus Tours" or even bike it. This would be a great day trip from Bigfork if you start early. We recommend the Red Bus Tour starting at Lake McDonald Lodge (also a hotel) located within the park. https://www.glaciernationalparklodges.com/red-bus-tours/west-side-tours/ 2. Stay a night at Many Glacier Hotel: The Switzerland of North America. Cannot recommend this enough! https://www.glaciernationalparklodges.com/lodging/many-glacier-hotel/ 3. Countless hiking options! Avalanche Lake, Highline Trail, and Grinnell Glacier are some of our favorites.
