We met at work at Akron City in the Emergency Department but had never really talked until the night that Lindsey was assigned as charge nurse. When multiple traumas, a patient having a heart attack and multiple highly critical patients arrived all at the same time Lindsey had to call in reinforcements which included Protective Services to deal with the chaos. That's where Tim came in. Him and some other officers jumped in to help, including assisting with one patient in CT scan. Later that night Tim messaged Lindsey and told her that she did a great job in managing the chaos. Thus beginning their friendship that eventually blossomed into more. Even if they both still get nervous when Lindsey is assigned as charge nurse.

Tim knew that Christmas is my favorite holiday and that my children mean the world to me. We had planned to go to Stan Hywet for the Christmas lights with all of our kids and that night before we left he pulled the girls aside. He told them that he would like to ask me to marry him but that he wanted to make sure it was okay with them first. Earlier in the evening he had asked his kids if it was okay with them. He then waited until we were in a perfect spot with lots of beautiful lights and then had him and I pose as if to take a picture together. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said yes and now we begin our happily ever after
