We have decided a traditional wedding just isn’t for us. We are holding a private ceremony and want to celebrate with all of the people we love!
If you can’t make other arrangements and you can still have fun, then kids are welcome. We’ll happily lie to your parents and say they HAVE to watch your children, just ask.
The pavilion is smack dab in the middle of the park. Parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Easiest access is through the east side using the E 23rd Ave. or E 22nd Ave. entrances. You may also park in the surrounding residential neighborhoods and walk in. https://www.denvergov.org/files/assets/public/parks-and-recreation/documents/rentals-amp-permits/parkaccess_cityparkpavilion.pdf
Our mantra has been, “It’s not a wedding, it’s a party.” We are aiming for a fun, stress free celebration! If you can’t make it because you have to work, travel, etc., we understand and won’t be the least bit offended.
Gifts are not necessary! We added a few options, including a link to donate to Pepita’s rescue shelter on the Registry page, but do not feel obligated!
We’ll be enjoying one of our favorites, Smōk barbecue, for dinner around 6:00. There will be mac and cheese and salad for our vegetarian guests and gluten free meats, coleslaw, and potato salad for our GF friends! Please let us know any dietary restrictions with your RSVP.
We will have an open bar with beer, wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic options. Cash tips for the bartenders are encouraged!
