Starting our forever!

John took me on a beautiful hike up St Mary Peak. It was a gorgeous day, sunny and warm. The trail gains 2,500 feet of elevation to the summit. It’s a 3.5 mile hike, with a view that takes your breath away. You can see mountain ranges all the way up and down the bitterroot valley. Stoping at a stream off the side of the trail, John pulls out my favorite bottle of wine, that is decorated with sticky notes. The notes had all kinds of sayings such as , “ I want to spend the rest of my life with you”, “Our love will stand the test of time”, and many more. As I am reading these, john pulls out two wine glasses (hiking kind) and then a red box. He asked me to mary him. In the middle of the forest, off a trail. The rushing creek water filling our ears, and the smell of pine I no longer smelled, as that moment took my breath away. Beautiful day, and a hike of a life time to remember. 💋
