Same love, New plan...

We were prepared for a lot, but the Coronavirus was not on the list. With the safety of our family and friends in mind, our entire wedding celebration will now take place outdoors. We do ask that if you are not feeling well, have been in contact with anyone known to be contagious, or have a fever, stay home! (We promise we will celebrate with you another time). In the event of rain, tents are in place, but most sides will remain open. We have accounted for greater social distancing and other precautions. Masks are welcome, but they are not required. We recognize that some of you may not be comfortable regardless of these efforts, so we hope you will raise a glass in celebration from the comfort of your own homes.

How It All Began

New Brunswick, NJ

Our fairytale began like all great fairytales...on the Banks of the Old Raritan. We both played lacrosse for Rutgers and found our paths always crossing. While Gerhard was two years older, he always took notice of Lindsey during her freshman year. It was not until the following year one magical night at the one and only Olde Queens where the sparks truly flew ... a decade later, and we have shared so many incredible memories together. We are beyond grateful to have each other and share in this love and are excited to celebrate the start of our next chapter.

The Proposal

Point Pleasant Beach 9/14/2019

We have always cherished making memories at the jersey shore so Gerhard devised a plan to pop the question at Lindsey's beloved Point Pleasant Beach during sunrise. At the beginning of that summer, we tried to catch a sunrise every weekend (Lindsey not knowing this was the start of something so much more). Gerhard knew he would need some help to capture this moment and enlisted her best friend Katie. On September 14th, we all woke up bright and early and headed to the beach. Of course that morning there couldn't have been more clouds in the sky and Gerhard wasn't sure the sun was going to show. But as fate would have it, the sun started to peak through the clouds and Gerhard asked Katie to take a picture of them by the water. As Katie took the photo, Gerhard got down on one knee and popped the question. The answer was obvious! Our friends and family were waiting to surprise us back at the infamous house on Vetrini Lane and the rest is history. We spent the day bar hopping to all of our favorite places, with friends and family showing up along the way. A day we will forever hold close to our hearts.
