The Charleston International Airport will bring you directly to the city and approximately 15 minutes to the West Ashley neighborhood where the venue is located.
Rental Car
Airport Rentals and Turo
If you are considering a rental car, there are many rental companies with the airport. As a way to save, Turo is a car rental site/app that is similar to AirBNB. You are able to rent people's cars at a lower rate. It is a safe, background checked provider that you can add additional insurance with (as low as ~$10). It's a nice alternative that we have used and recommend. You can also arrange for car pick up and drop off at the airport for convenience.
Hotel
West Ashley Hotels
We are currently working on blocking hotel rooms for a reduced rate. We’ve requested May 8th to May 11th. Once we have additional information this section will be updated. Please check back if you have interest in using our hotel block. If you would like to stay at a different hotel we recommend staying in the West Ashley neighborhood or in Downtown Charleston to remain close to the venue and in a central location. Travel Note
Getting to the Venue
The Island House is located at: 2658 Swygert Blvd. Johns Island, SC 29455 If you put this in a GPS you will be taken directly to the venue. Your final turn on to Swygert Blvd. will be a right and is marked by a boat propeller. The venue property shares a road with a boat dock, but the only right you can take will bring you through a gate into the property where the wedding will be held.
