    Welcome to Atlanta

Welcome to Atlanta

We're excited to share some of our favorite things to do and places to eat in the city we met. If you're staying at the Loews hotel, you're in the perfect location to visit some of Atlanta's best spots!

Midtown - Things to Do

Piedmont Park: where we had out first date! Go on a jog or walk around the park or check out the Saturday morning farmer's market. Botanical Gardens: the gardens are beautiful and will be in full fall / Halloween mode. The Fox Theatre: take a tour or see a show at Atlanta's most beautiful old theatre. We got engaged at the Georgian Terrace hotel directly across the street! The High Museum of Art: a great museum in the area

Midtown - Places to Eat

Politan Row: a food hall in the heart of midtown with great food variety. If you find yourself there during the evening, we recommend stopping by their speakeasy, Jojo’s Beloved, for a nightcap. Rumi’s Kitchen: one of their newest locations in Atlanta. Get. The. Sea. Bass. You won’t regret it. Lyla Lila: one of our favorite restaurants in midtown that features a Southern European cuisine. We recommend making a reservation - they book up quick! El Valle: directly across from our first apartment together. We’ve spent many Friday happy hours there :). Bon Ton: a fun Cajun/Vietnamese restaurant Rreal Tacos: a more casual restaurant with authentic Mexican street food. We love their tacos!

Old Fourth Ward - Things to Do

The Old Fourth Ward is a trendy hub for foodies and shoppers. Ponce City Market: one of Atlanta's favorite gathering spots. Visit the shops and food stalls. Check out the rooftop where you can enjoy great views of Atlanta, play games (including skee-ball, mini golf, and other amusement-park style games). The BeltlLine: take a walk on a beautiful fall day on the Beltline, Atlanta's pedestrian walkway that surrounds its core in-town neighborhoods. You can access it from many spots, but if you're already at Ponce City Market, you can hop on the BeltLine from there. There are no shortages of places to stop for refreshments!

Old Fourth Ward - Places to Eat

Folk Art: great brunch place Nina & Rafi: Detroit-style pizza New Realm Brewing: local brewery right off the BeltLine Lingering Shade: one of our favorite spots to stop for a drink along the BeltLine A Mano: one of our favorite Italian spots directly across from Lindsey’s first apartment in Atlanta. We can’t speak more highly of the burratta! Ruby Chow’s: a tapas-style Asian fusion restaurants. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!
