When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience, but no later than April 25th.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for both the Nuptial Mass and the Reception is Semi-Formal. While in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, out of respect, men should wear their dress coats and women should cover their shoulders and backs.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love for all of our family and friends to be able to celebrate our special day with us! However, due to space and cost constraints, we will only be able to accommodate those whose names are officially on the invites.

Is there parking available at the church and reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the church. Bluemont Vineyard is about a 25 minute drive from St. John the Apostle. Parking for The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard is in a grassy lawn. Drivers are encouraged to drop guests off at the door prior to parking. For those who are elderly or are unable to navigate walking in the grass, please park in the gravel lot behind the venue.

What are the dinner options?

Answer

Cocktail hour will feature multiple passed hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be served family style with both a chicken and beef entrée complimented by two vegetable side dishes and a salad. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, if needed, to those who request it on their RSVP.

What if something comes up, and I can't make it anymore?

Answer

We understand that even after RSVPing, a situation may arise where you will not be able to attend our Holy Matrimony and Reception. We kindly ask that if this is the case, you would let us know prior to May 9th, as this is the latest the venue will allow us to make adjustments to the attendee list.
