Update: In light of COVID-19, we wanted to check in and let you know your health and safety are our top priority. We have decided to postpone our wedding date to May 14, 2021. They say third times a charm, right?! From a pandemic, to social injustice, to working on the front lines, to loosing our venue 2 months before the wedding, we, as most have been through a lot this last year. We have found a new, wonderful venue and are still pushing forward with our big day on May 14, even with the restrictions on attendance. Currently the city of Chicago and Illinois only allow for 50 people, so we are moving forward with this. This is a large change from our original 140 and all those not present will be missed immensely. We are closely monitoring the situation however and will keep you posted about any changes to our wedding. Thank you for your patience! Welcome to our wedding website! Lindsay and Grant's story begins when they met through mutual friends about 4 years ago. Fun Fact: the two met 6 months before Grant mustered up the courage to ask Lindsay on their first date! Sparks were flying but it wasn’t love at first sight...Grant may or may not have given Lindsay enough attention when she was talking/discussing the Cubs! Lucky for all of you, Lindsay gave Grant a chance to redeem himself, and he did just that! The pair fell in love going to Cubs games, traveling, cooking, going on runs, and just hanging out with friends. Oh and wine, while drinking LOTS of wine! When it was time to pop the big question, Grant had just the right plan - Lindsay was completely surprised. While in Arizona for their annual Cubs spring training trip, the pair went on a hike and upon reaching the top of the mountain, he got down on one knee! We can all imagine how priceless that moment must have been! Now we all gather to celebrate Lindsay and Grants true love story in all its wine and Cubs glory, on June 13th, 2020!
