We're getting married!

Lindsay and Ed met at Lindsay’s mother and stepfather’s wedding in 2013. Ed had been a long-time friend of Powell Allen, Lindsay’s soon-to-be stepfather. Lindsay remembers looking at her mother the day of her wedding and saying “I’m going to marry that man one day”. Fast forward to 2018, Ed and his beautiful daughter Katharine came to visit Lindsay’s parents….and Lindsay fell in love with both Ed and Katharine. Lindsay and Ed have been inseparable since that visit. Their love was unexpected and changed their lives for the better. They gave each other hope. They now live happily in Ideal, Georgia with their beautiful daughter Katharine, wonderful mama Myra, two dogs, and more cats than they care to disclose. Ed proposed to Lindsay in a field on his family’s property where he had planted sunflowers weeks prior. They decided to get married on the five year anniversary of the first time they said “I love you”.
