Things To Do

From fantastic food to pictureque parks to memorable museums, Baltimore truly has it all!

Baltimore Museum of Art

10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218

Not only is it our reception venue, but it is also a fantastic free museum! The BMA is located on the Johns Hopkins campus and near the shops and restaurants on the Avenue in Hampden. Exploring all three makes for a great day!

The Walters Art Museum

600 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21201

Baltimore's other free art museum, the Walters, is located in the Mount Vernon neighborhood. It is within walking distance to St. Ignatius church, where our ceremony will be, as well as the beautiful Peabody Library and Conservatory. The area also has great restaurants and bars; we love the food at Dooby's and the espresso martini at Owl Bar.

National Aquarium

501 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202

We had our first date at the National Aquarium and always enjoyed returning to this Baltimore landmark. The walk to the aquarium is just 15 minutes from the room block hotels, and makes up the start of our favorite "urban hike" around the harbor Promenade.

Ekiben

1622 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21231

The absolute best takeout food in Baltimore, and our go-to spot anytime we are back in the city. We highly recommend the tofu and chicken bowls, but everything on their menu is delicious. Ekiben is located about a 15-minute walk from the hotels, and just a few blocks from the waterfront in Fell's Point. A variety of bars, restaurants, and shops line Fell's cobbled streets, and it's a great place to walk around and explore.

Birroteca Baltimore

1520 Clipper Road, Baltimore, MD 21211

Birroteca is our favorite date night spot in Baltimore. This out-of-the-way Italian restaurant has some of the best gluten-free pizza and pasta, and was the site of many celebrations in our relationship. Pro-tip, the $11 mini prosecco bottle is big enough for two glasses :)

Pho Bac

700 South Potomac Street, Baltimore, MD 21224

Pho Bac is a cozy Vietnamese restaurant that has earned national recognition and serves delicious food. We often dined at this restaurant while Lindsay lived in Canton, ordering more than we could eat just to bring home leftovers.

Patterson Park

2601-A E, Baltimore, MD

Patterson Park is one of our favorite parts of Baltimore. There are beautiful walking paths along the ponds, passing the famous Baltimore Pagoda, and big fields for sports and picnicking. We still regularly come back to play volleyball with friends before heading to dinner at one of the many restaurants in the neighborhoods surrounding the park.
