Where is the ceremony? reception?

Answer

Everything is in 1 location! Weather permitting, we will have an outdoor ceremony, followed by cocktail hour, and an indoor reception. All happening at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm, 310 Portland St South Berwick, ME 03901. Parking is available on site

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:30PM and 4:50PM to find your seat before the ceremony starts at promptly 5:00PM

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - semi-formal. Think dressier than what you wear to work, but not as formal as a black tie event. Please keep in mind we are planning for an outdoor ceremony on the grass. There is a stone pathway leading to the ceremony site, but the aisle and walking paths to your seat are not paved, so keep this in mind when choosing footwear

Can I bring a plus one?

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, there are no children at the wedding. Please use this night as a kid-free event to fully enjoy yourself and celebrate with us

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have rooms blocked at a local hotel - check out our 'travel' page for specifics. We are offering a shuttle to/from the wedding venue and a discount if booked before the deadline using our discount link/mentioning our name when reserving over the phone. Feel free to also source your own spot that fits your needs! Just keep in mind we won't be able to offer transportation outside of the location already provided.

Will there be entertainment?

Answer

Um, is there a sun and moon? LOL. Of course we will have dancing. We have arranged for a DJ that will help you dance your booty off

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle provided from the hotel that has a room block (Homewood Suites Dover). Please check out the 'travel' page for exact shuttle times and plan accordingly. Immediate family and bridal party will be staying at the Stage House Inn, and the Neally House, which will also have a shuttle to and from the wedding venue. Please check out the 'travel' page for shuttle times.

When should we book our hotel?

Answer

As soon as you know you're planning to stay! We have negotiated a discounted room rate at the Comfort Inn Suites in Dover, NH (see travel page for more details). The discount is currently only available until 5/15. Rooms can still be booked after this date, pending availability, but the standard rate would apply.

If we come into town on Friday, what is there to do?

Answer

You are more than welcome to enjoy the area, however you'd like! Check out our 'Things To Do' page for some ideas! But if you're ready to start celebrating early, we are hosting 'A Night Before' casual gathering at The Nealley House that everyone in town is welcome for. 169 Main St. South Berwick 6:30 PM It will be a casual night with drinks and snacks, spend the evening with us or swing by on your back to your hotel room!
