Maid of Honor
Everyone needs a Maddie in their life. As the older sister, it was engrained in me that I should set a good example for my younger sister to follow—little did I know how much she would end up teaching me. Apart from being beautiful and talented, she is the definition of grace and loving like Jesus. She is a light to everyone lucky enough to know her. It's been such a sweet blessing to see our relationship span the test of time from the younger years to long distance to now living in the same city again as adults. And I am so excited to have her standing beside me on my wedding day. Her unrelenting support and wisdom beyond her years has been such a source of comfort for me throughout the years and will no doubt make her the best MOH ever!
Best Man
Adam met me when mom brought me home from the hospital. The first time he held me, he dropped me. Since then, however, he has realized that I am his favorite brother. Like most brothers, we argued growing up but realized as we got older than we would do anything for each other. He has always been there for me and I couldn't imagine anyone else standing up supporting me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Abbey is the person that you want in your corner. Small, yet mighty. I've been lucky enough to have her in mine for over a decade now. From college RAs to roommates to long distance travel buddies we’ve done a lot of life together. And despite all of life’s changes she has remained one of my constant sources of support, friendship, and and adventure, and I'm forever grateful for that. So ready to share this new phase of life with her by my side!
Groomsman
Woody and I met at church early on after Woody moved to Knoxville. We went for Mexican food and realized we were best friends. We have been best buds since then. I was lucky enough to stand with Woody when he got married and my wedding wouldn't be complete without Woody standing up with me. Woody is one of my closest friends. I know that if I ever need anything, I can always count on Woody. He is and always will be an important person in my life.
Bridesmaid
Kelly was the BFF I never saw coming. From being my preceptor at UT we learned quickly that we shared the same sarcastic sense of humor, but it wasn’t until after a Luke Bryan Farm Tour concert that we really knew we would be fast friends. Fast forward a year and we found ourselves embarking on a travel nurse adventure together that lasted for almost 3 years. Our adventures together are now some of my sweetest memories and I'm so thankful she said yes to taking that journey with me several years ago. Thrilled to make some new memories with her as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Donnie and I met right after I graduated from UT. I started working in a physical therapy clinic where Donnie had just started at a physical therapist. Donnie and I became friends quickly, as we realized that we were basically the same person. We continued to become better friends over the next few years as I went off to PT school and after graduation, Donnie made the best decision of his career and hired me on to work with him in Oak Ridge. Donnie has become one of my closest friends and I'm thankful I get to work with him every day.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I go way back to high school where we played volleyball together. But we actually got closer through a daddy/daughter mission trip to Acapulco. Through the years and many moves (for both of us), Sarah’s proven to be one of those friends that despite the distance and time between seeing each other, our friendship always picks back up right where it left off. Living in the same city again has been such a gift and allowed our friendship to grow to include our fellas too. I was so excited to stand with her at her wedding and even more excited that a few years later she’s going to be doing the same at mine!
Groomsman
Zane and I met in high school at youth group. We remained close during our time at UT. We've been through a lot of good times together. From lake days to beach trips to mission trips in the Caribbean, Zane and I have seen it all. He is one of the people in my life that no matter how far we are from each other or how long its been since we have talked, we can pick right back up where we left off and it's like nothing has changed. I stood with Zane on his wedding day, and mine wouldn't be complete without him.
Bridesmaid
Jules is another gem that came out of my time at UT. I don’t know if there’s anything Jules isn’t good at, from mastering ER nursing and becoming the best flight nurse in town, to showing off her skills in the kitchen cooking up all the things like Pioneer Woman. These days she’s working on mastering a new role—motherhood, and I have no doubt she’ll rock it just as easily. So grateful our friendship has spanned the test of time and distance and now I get the pleasure of having her stand with me at my wedding!
Groomsman
Josh and I met in college at UT. We became friends quickly and have had some amazing times together. During college, we spent most weekend nights hanging out either exploring the nightlife on the strip or just doing nothing together. From camping out at Thompson Boling for basketball games to cruising the Caribbean, we have had some amazing times together. When I moved to Johnson City for PT school, Josh's parents adopted me and his mom would introduce me as her "other son" since Josh and I were as close as brothers during college. We never lost touch and have remained close friends throughout adulthood.
Bridesmaid
Shan was one of the first people I met in orientation at UT Medical Center. I had a lot of good things come out of my time at UT and my friendship with Shan is one of them. There’s an unspoken bond that comes from working in a high stress environment together and I learned then just how strong and resilient Shannon is. Her perseverance through everything life’s thrown her way inspires me regularly and I’m thankful we’ve been able to remain close despite career shifts and life changes. So excited she’ll be standing with me as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Matt and I met freshman year at UT in chemistry class. We became friends when we realized that we were both going to the same church. We lived together in the church house then ended up getting an apartment together for our last few years of college. From getting Little Caesar's pizzas and 44oz drinks and staying up playing Guitar Hero, to moving away starting our careers, Matt and I never lost touch. I stood with Matt when he got married and wouldn't dream of Matt not being with me on my day.
Honorary Bridesmaid
Rylee, or Roo as I know her, is one of my first cousins. We’ve grown up together and even though she’s almost four years my junior, she’s always maintained such a poised and patient nature that I’ve watched grow into a quiet confidence as she’s transitioned into adult life and motherhood. We’ve shared so many fun memories together and I can’t wait to add one more to the list at my wedding!
Honorary Bridesmaid
Katee, or Bug as I call her, is another one of my first cousins. At 5 years my junior we weren’t always super close growing up, but as we’ve gotten older our relationship has blossomed into a sweet friendship full of laughter and movie quotes and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Katee is the creative, artistic soul in the family and I’m constantly in awe of her talents. From making her own jewelry, becoming fluent in sign language and caring for our elderly grandparents, she does it all while maintaining a sweet, compassionate spirit. Can’t wait for her to be a part of our wedding day!
Honorary Bridesmaid
Holly is also one of my first cousins and at only 8 months apart we were close from the very beginning. From having sleepovers in her basement and traveling for family vacations to now navigating adulthood and laughing until we snort at Reynolds’ family Christmas, life can look and feel a little different. But despite the changes, Holly has remained a constant source of encouragement, support, and laughter and I can’t imagine my wedding day without her beside me. Our shared love for travel and adventure has continued to bond us throughout the years and I’m so grateful that she’ll be with me as I start my next adventure on my wedding day!
