Whether your accommodation has ocean front access or not, you can enjoy 4 miles of beautiful South Beach. Check out the Art Deco lifeguard towers, the newly renovated boardwalk and the people that make South Beach unique! Be sure to bring towels, hats, cold beverages and sunscreen!
Renting a Citi Bike is the easiest way to explore South Beach! You can cruise down the boardwalk (South Pointe Park is a must), cross the Venetian Causeway, and check out local bars, restaurants and shops. Stations are located throughout the city, making it a convenient way to do your sightseeing!
Take a paddle board or kayak out into Biscayne Bay, catch a great view of the Miami skyline, take a leisurely ride through the canals of Sunset Islands or even venture your way over to Monument Island!
Our first date was a dive bar crawl through South Beach! Check out Broken Shaker, Sweet Liberty, Ted's Hideaway, Mac's Club Deuce, Lost Weekend, Abbey Brewing Company, The Standard, Monty's Sunset, Minibar, The ScapeGoat* (*mom, don't worry we didn't make it to all of these)
If you have the time, be sure to venture out to Calle Ocho. Located about 20 minutes from the beach, Little Havana is the center of Cuban culture in Miami. This vibrant area has great Cuban food, houses the historic Domino Park, and is the home to many cigar shops, bars, and of course, Cuban cafecito. Disfruta!
Wynwood is Miami's art district, located across the bridge from Miami Beach. Here you can check out colorful murals, art galleries and a handful of local breweries (Veza Sur, J. Wakefield, Wynwood Brewing Company). Start at Wynwood Walls and explore from there.
Here's something for the adrenaline junkies. See Miami from the water as you explore Biscayne Bay, South Pointe Park, Monument Island and some beautiful waterfront homes.
