In short - this is a difficult question to address due to the rapidly changing state and city masking requirements. As of 08/03/21 San Francisco has re-instituted their indoor mask policy. In response, our venue requires masks to be worn indoors by those who are not fully by the wedding date. We will be providing silk masks to all guests who need or desire one. These requirements are continually evolving and we will continue updating our website as new information emerges.
Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to the venue. The location is in a residential area with time-limited parking, so plan on arranging to arrive by taxi, Uber, or using our provided shuttle that will be picking up guests at the Fairmont around 3:15. After the festivities, there will be two shuttle routes arranged: one route will head to the Fairmont Hotel, the other to Union Street for a little post-celebration celebrating. Shuttles will begin operating at 9pm for those who wish to depart early.
Formal or cocktail attire, please. Cocktail dresses, dressy separates, and suits or sport coats will be perfect! The venue will have hard floors throughout so feel free to wear whatever heels you like (or flats!)
Fortunately San Francisco is known for having the best weather during September! Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 60's-70's and although the odds of precipitation are low, there will always be a chance of light rain.
For our ceremony we kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away. However, photos are more than welcome during all other parts of the celebration. Our only request is that you use the hashtag #LinderForLife so we can keep track of all your pictures!
There will be a set seated dinner that will take place after the ceremony. Entrees will include a choice of New York Strip or Halibut, along with a Slow Roasted Carrot option that is vegan (and AMAZING).
Fortunately San Francisco has no shortage of hotels at a wide range of prices. We have blocks at two hotels, The Fairmont and the Nikko, where you can get a special reduced rate (please see the Travel page for details). If a hotel isn't right for you, San Francisco has plenty of AirBnb options as well.
Please RSVP by mailing back the RSVP card and envelope that are included in the invitation you have received no later than August 1st. *We kindly request that you use your initials when marking your meal choices.
Invitations were mailed out during the week of July 5th and are expected to be delivered during the next couple weeks. If you have not received an invitation by July 25th, please contact Madison or Stephanie.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
