FAQs

Question

Where do we fly to? How long does it take to get to the resort?

Answer

Cancun International Airport. The resort is a 35-minute drive, but it can take more time in traffic. We recommend securing flights as soon as possible for the best fare.

Question

When should we arrive and leave?

Answer

Our wedding events are on Thursday and Friday, however, we plan to keep the celebration going until Sunday. Our room block secures your rate for 3 days before and after our wedding weekend if you decide to extend your stay.

Question

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

There are taxis from the Cancun airport, however there are no Ubers available. We recommend setting up transportation ahead of time and carpooling when possible. If you plan to rent a car, there will be parking onsite at the hotel.

Question

Can you recommend car services?

Question

What does Beach Formal wedding attire mean?

Answer

Guys, this means slacks and a button-down - jacket and tie are totally optional given the heat. Please no shorts or flip-flops. Ladies, this means midi or maxi length dress or pants. Please note that our ceremony and cocktail hour is on the beach and the reception is on grass. Consider dress length and footwear for both environments. Bright colors are encouraged!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will be hot and humid! The weather in May is mid to high 80's during the day and cools down slightly at night. On the water, there is usually a nice breeze, but consider light and airy fabrics. We imagine you will spend most of your days in the water!

Question

What are you doing about COVID safety?

Answer

While Mexico no longer requires testing to enter the country, we kindly request that you take a COVID test before flying. All of our events will be outside.

Question

Should we bring our kids?

Answer

Kids are most welcome to join us for the wedding weekend! However, we request that no children under 5 years old attend the ceremony itself to avoid any disruptions. For your convenience, the hotel offers 24-hour babysitting services and a kids' club.

Question

Do you have suggestions of where to eat for non-hosted meals?

Answer

The resort has several restaurants onsite, from casual tacos on the beach to an elegant Mexican dinner. Your room also comes with a buffet breakfast for $20 USD each morning. The concierge can help arrange reservations for meals "off campus."

Question

Is the hotel all-inclusive?

Answer

A meal plan can be organized upon arrival. We will be hosting you on Thursday or Friday night, but on Saturday, you can choose to do à la carte or opt into an all-inclusive plan. If you plan to do à la carte, you will be able to opt-in for the buffet breakfast plan in our room block which is $20 USD daily.

Question

WHO DO I CONTACT WITH QUESTIONS?

Answer

Please contact the hotel directly with reservation-related inquries. You're also welcome to reach out to us at lilyandtuckerwedding@gmail.com with any additional questions.
